Privacy Policy

This is a static website. It sets no cookies and embeds no third-party content that would transmit your data to others. For usage statistics it uses Umami, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics tool hosted on our own server — it collects only anonymous, aggregated data and never tracks you across websites. Because no cookies are set and no personal data is stored, no consent banner is needed.

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany.

When you visit the site, the web server automatically records information that your browser transmits, in so-called server log files: the requesting IP address, date and time of the request, the page/file requested, the referring URL, and your browser type, version, and operating system.

This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest) for the purpose of operating the site securely and reliably and is not merged with other data sources. Log data is stored only for a short period and then deleted. A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) is in place with the hosting provider.

This site does not set any cookies. Your selected colour theme (light/dark) is saved in your browser's local storage on your own device only — it is not a cookie, contains no personal data, and is never transmitted to the server.

All fonts are self-hosted and served directly from this website. No connection is made to Google Fonts or any other external font provider, so no data is shared with such services.

This website uses Umami, an open-source web analytics tool that we host ourselves on the same infrastructure as this site. No analytics data is transmitted to any third party.

Umami works without cookies and does not store a persistent identifier for you: it records only aggregated, anonymous usage data (such as pages viewed, the referring website, approximate region, and browser/operating-system type). Your IP address is used only transiently to derive the approximate region and a daily-rotating, non-reversible visitor hash — it is not stored. This data cannot be traced back to you, is never combined with other sources, and is never used to track you across other websites.

This processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR: our legitimate interest in understanding, in aggregate and anonymously, how the website is used so we can improve it. You may object to this processing at any time using the contact details above.

For security, this site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the "https://" prefix in your browser's address bar.
