About
I'm Florian, a backend engineer originally from Magdeburg and now living in Hamburg. I build and run distributed systems that stay reliable under real-world load, mostly with Kotlin, Java and TypeScript on AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. What I enjoy most is digging into a complex domain, drafting a solution and then leading the work that ships it. Currently I do that as a consultant at bitside, focused on backend and DevOps. This site is my own small piece of infrastructure: designed, built and deployed end to end.
